Kevin is the founder of Edge Construction Specialties. He is currently President and CEO of Edge Construction Specialties and oversees the pre-construction and estimating department. If you don't get Kevin on the office phone, he can most likely be found coaching hockey, bird hunting, or fishing. Kevin is married with three boys, all future finish carpenters in training.
Stuart graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. He began working for Edge in 2006 and became Vice President four years ago. He oversees all projects from buyout to completion. Stuart likes the varied challenges he is presented with at Edge and the can-do attitude of the team. When not on the job, Stuart trains for and races Ironman triathlons with his lovely wife, and spends time with his incredible family.
Field Operations Manager
Brent Sharp lived in Michigan until 5 years ago when he moved to Colorado. Brent brings extensive field experience (15+ years) and a degree in Interior Design to his role as a Project Manager for Edge Construction Specialties. He has been with Edge for 3 ½ years and enjoys working with designers and architects to transform design ideas into what owners actually want. Brent’s field experience makes him a very impactful project manager, especially when complicated details are present. In his free time, Brent bike, hikes and plays volleyball.
Jeff comes to us from Phoenix, and he has a BS in Journalism from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. As assistant director he takes care of the behind the scenes details; helping us cross t's and dot i's. Away from the office, Jeff is a runner on both trails and the road, and has run several marathons and even a few ultra marathons up to 50 miles. He has a wide assortment of experience, including golf professional, residential property manager, and even started a cold brew coffee company. He writes running shoe reviews in his spare time, and has published two novels and a non-fiction book. He recently moved to Colorado with his wife, Stephanie, a Colorado native, and their daughter Emma.
Missie Johnson West
As the Office Manager, Missie is responsible for overseeing the many aspects of daily office operations. Missie joined the company in 2020 and brings with her over 21 years of experience including, but not limited to, advertising, small business operations and financial services. Originally from Iowa, but in Colorado since the sixth grade, Missie graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelors in advertising and a minor in women’s studies.
Andrew has been working with Edge since 2015. Previously Andrew has held construction engineer and management positions as a public works consultant in the state of California. He comes with a strong background in drafting and engineering thanks to his time at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Senior Project Manager
Steve is a native of Buffalo, New York, and has a degree in Accounting & Finance from Syracuse University. After working in the financial sector in New York City and as a futures trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Steve channeled his business acumen with his love of woodworking into a Project/Operations Manager role at a high end Chicago residential millwork company. In 2007, Steve and his family moved to Denver to enjoy the bright sunshine and great outdoors of Colorado. Steve has served as a Project Manager in the commercial millwork industry since then, working on hundreds of projects all over Colorado and building strong industry relationships. In his spare time, you'll find Steve on the ski slopes, in the kitchen making dinner, or cheering loudly from the sidelines at one of his 3 kids sporting events.
Senior Project Manager
Originally born and raised in western Washington, Steve eventually found his way into the Architectural Millwork Industry, where he soon discovered himself working worldwide on high profile projects. Steve feels extremely fortunate to have found himself in a career that provided him the to opportunity to live abroad and have numerous unique experiences in many countries. Most recently Steve relocated from Arizona to Colorado to join the Edge team, bringing with him many years of experience and varied expertise.
As an avid outdoorsman, in his free time Steve enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, golf and other entrepreneurial pursuits.
Casey came to Edge from a local cabinet company where he was a project manager. He has been living in Colorado off and on for the past 10 years, starting when I went to school at the University of Colorado. He spends most of his free time exploring the mountains whether it be on a snowboard, motorcycle, or on foot.
Donté is a Denver Native and Veteran of the United States Navy where he specialized in Electrical Engineering and Damage Control. After his military service, he served in the financial planning/risk management world as an Agency Manager and completed degrees in Marketing and Spanish from Metropolitan State University. When not on the grind, Donté enjoys keeping his competitive spirit alive on the football field, remodeling his home and expressing himself through multiple artistic outlets. This harmonious coalescence of knowledge and experience, and love of woodwork, has led him into the Millwork industry and the Project Management role at Edge.
Assistant Project Manager
Originally from the east coast, Kate split her time between Vermont & Massachusetts until her love of spending outside in the mountains eventually brought her to Colorado. She enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, gardening, almost anything that allows her to spend time outdoors. Kate graduated from the University of New Hampshire and started my construction career working in the Boston area. After moving to Vail, she joined a general contractor team, where she worked for 5 years before joining the team at Edge Construction Specialties.
Alex grew up in Denver CO and has been working with Edge since April 2018. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management and Business, which he applies to his role as a project engineer. Alex enjoys the unique challenges of finish carpentry project management and is proud to contribute to projects in his home state. When not in the office or on the jobsite, you can find Alex enjoying the outdoors by snowboarding or mountain biking.
Eric grew up in a small town in Northwest Iowa where he built and installed cabinets with his dad. In 2016, Eric moved to Arizona, where he was engineering cabinets at a large cabinet shop. After a couple of years, Eric moved to Colorado in search of better hiking and cooler weather. Eric's favorite hobbies include hiking, building furniture, reading, and playing tennis. On a typical weekend, you can usually find Eric supporting local breweries and food trucks with friends.
Dennis "Mick" McKee
Mick has been in Architectural Millwork since 1974. A Journeyman Millman by trade, working at multiple tasks from bench assembly, installer, cutbilling manager, machinist, purchasing manager, engineering. CAD drafting, and various other duties that pertain to custom millwork. Mick has extensive knowledge of hardware and materials as he has been involved with purchasing in the Architectural Construction Trades for 18 years.
Chris is originally from Reno, NV but has been in Colorado since 2013. Chris has a millwork background as a builder/machinist for 14 years, and after taking design classes in CAD and Revit, he then moved into drafting for about a year. Next, Chris was presented with an opportunity to learn estimating, which eventually led to him taking over estimating and production management which ultimately led to overseeing the shop and everything that was involved with that. Chris spends his free time with his daughter, which is his life. Chris also loves trail running, ultra-trail races and obstacle course racing. He has raced in various places throughout the country, with the World Championship Spartan Race at Lake Tahoe being the toughest race so far. Let’s just say that the blizzard conditions made it interesting. He lives by “the longer the distance, the more inclined he is to be doing it” rule.
Greg moved to Colorado shortly after obtaining his degree in 1995. Greg has an extensive background in Custom Architectural Millwork Drafting and Design, which was acquired from working at a few of the largest cabinet companies across Colorado. He is excited to be working at Edge where he will be able to pass along the engineering knowledge that he has picked up throughout his career. When Greg is not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife and 2 kids.
As a Denver native, Denise has been with Edge a year now tackling the high rise life of residential Construction. Her experience with in the business goes back 19 years here in Denver. After working in the field of New Home construction, she transitioned to a Denver Realtor and general contractor working with her clients building dream homes to complete her diverse skill set. When not vacationing with her two daughters, You can always find Denise at her second home (the Gym) with her two girls keeping the family healthy while having fun!
Geoff comes to Edge as a professionally trained woodworker, with industry experience as a fabricator, estimator, and project manager for over 40 years. While Geoff grew up in the deserts of Arizona and moved to Colorado 13 years ago, between that time he has also been lucky enough to work as a high-end millwork installer and custom woodworker throughout the world. He loves spending time with his children, and grandchildren, and tries to spend as much time with them as he can, bicycling, camping, fishing and/or hunting. Geoff also loves to make use of his culinary arts degree, from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, by cooking for his friends and family. In his free time, Geoff builds and shoots traditional longbows and recurves and is heavily involved with the promotion of traditional archery, where the goal to get as many kids introduced to it as possible.
Originally from Arizona, Lance has been in Colorado for the past 8 years working with some of the finest shops in Denver and the surrounding areas. With 35 years of experience, Lance has overseen thousands of customized projects of all sizes and complexities while working hand-in-hand with employees, contractors and owners alike. Lance was excited to when he had the opportunity to join Edge and share his extensive experience with the Team. His hobbies and interests include mountain Motorcycle riding with his wife Jill, welding, and working on classic cars and trucks.

Jeff was born and raised in San Diego, California and moved to Colorado in 2003. He currently resides, with his family, in the town of No Name outside of Glenwood Springs, CO. He brings to the Edge Construction Specialties Team many years of construction experience. Jeff enjoys playing guitar, skiing, rafting, road tripping and adventuring with his family, including his two adorable grandchildren.

Garrett was born and raised in the Vail Valley, where he still resides in Eagle County. Garrett graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After college, Garrett returned to Eagle County to spend 3 seasons as a raft guide and before joining Edge he spent the past couple of years working for a general contractor in the area. In his free time, you'll find Garrett skiing, rafting, climbing, wake surfing and mountain biking.
Hi, I'm Jo. You can usually find me sleeping on the main floor where the polished concrete is nice and cool. I am convinced that everyone who comes to visit us is here to see me, and I love people, so that works out nicely.
