Job Summary

Job Title: Purchasing Agent: Door, Frame, Hardware and Specialties Focused – Specification sections 6,8,10 and 12

Job Brief: Purchasing Agents are responsible for working with project managers and estimators to meet our project team's needs

Job Starting Location: 5717 West 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214

Position Type: Full Time
Job Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Compensation: Competitive salary, paid and optional benefits, vacation and holidays, matching 401K plan, computer or tablet, and reimbursement for job-related travel
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Job Duties

Duties/Responsibilities

Able to read blueprints and do take-offs on doors, frames, hardware and specialty items
Strong knowledge of Div 6,8,10,12 and most notably commercial door hardware
Practical knowledge of construction methods and application of principles
Self-motivated to stay on top of fast paced schedule
Good computer skills, especially using Excel
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years in an administrative role in the construction industry

Required Qualifications

Able to read blueprints and do take offs on doors, frames, hardware and specialty items
Strong knowledge of Div 6,8,10,12 and most notably commercial door hardware
Practical knowledge of construction methods and application of principles
Self-motivated to stay on top of fast paced schedule
Good computer skills, especially using Excel.
Bachelor’s Degree
