Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Edge Office - 5717 West 6th Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214
Position Type: Full Time (Must be flexible to working over 40 hours when needed)
Standard Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm
Compensation: Competitive salary, paid and optional benefits, vacation, holidays and matching 401K plan

 

Job Description

 

Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Field Operations Manager and Office Support group with coordination duties associated with projects, including resolving minor customer and vendor issues. 
 
To be successful as a Project Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using both Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Essential Job Duties

 

Field Operations Support

  • Maintaining document control and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures

  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings

  • Undertaking project tasks as required

  • Developing project strategies

  • Maintain Edge punch list, report on progress

  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable

  • Schedule equipment rentals for various job-sites

  • Schedule safety & equipment trainings for employees as needed

  • Maintain OSHA 300 Logs

  • Assist with incident reports

  • Assist with OCIP (owner-controlled insurance program) enrollments and payroll reporting

  • Provide and maintain document control for project/operations teams

  • Organize, coordinate, and run annual CPR training and Safety Days

  • Facilitate monthly Foremen meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members. 

 

Office Support

  • Support Field teams as assigned (ordering consumables, assisting with reporting, etc.)

  • Manage vendor or customer tasks/issues

  • Maintain customer/vendor contract status and functions

  • Coordinate customer or vendor pay applications and lien waiver tracking as assigned

  • Perform weekly labor job costing and cost to complete functions

  • Coordinate and assist with time card reporting, report on both as required by Edge or our customer

  • Subcontractor Management / Compliance

  • Providing administrative support as needed

  • Conduct project retrospective meetings

  • Distribute client feedback surveys

  • Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements

 

The ideal candidate will have a sound accounting background and experience with small business operations and the construction industry.  Must also be an excellent communicator and have strong organizations skills. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:


Education

  • College degree with coursework in a technical area

  • 2 years construction industry experience in an administrative role – i.e. Project Coordinator, Project Assistant/Administrator or Contracts Administrator

  • Experience responding to customer and/or vendor concerns

Knowledge/Skills

  • Experience in construction coordination and closeout

  • Experience providing contractor or vendor support

  • Ability to read plans and specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

​

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or at least 2 years in an administrative or coordinator role in the construction industry

  • Experience assisting multiple teams


Knowledge/Skills

  • Experience in construction coordination and closeout

  • Experience providing contractor or vendor support

  • Ability to read plans and specifications
