Meet The Team


Kevin Brzeczek


Kevin graduated from the University of Denver in 1991 and and founded Edge Construction Specialties in 1996. Kevin is married with 3 sons. He is currently President and CEO of the company, and oversees the Preconstruction and Estimating department. When Kevin isn't in the office working on a bid or on the phone, you can find him pursuing his passions for fly fishing in salt water, deep sea fishing, trout fishing, or chasing upland and waterfowl game with his 3 sons.

Stuart Evans


Stuart graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. He began working for Edge in 2006 and became Vice President four years ago. He oversees all projects from buyout to completion. Stuart likes the varied challenges he is presented with at Edge and the can-do attitude of the team. When not on the job, Stuart trains for and races Ironman triathlons with his lovely wife and spends time with his incredible family.

Brent Sharp

Director of Field Operations and Safety

Brent moved to Colorado in 2012 from his native Michigan to come work for Edge. He brings extensive field experience (25+ years) and a degree in Interior Design to the team. He enjoys working with designers and architects to transform design ideas into what owners actually want. Brent’s field experience makes him an incredible superintendent, especially when complicated details are present. In his free time, Brent enjoys biking, hiking and bird hunting.

Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck

Assistant Director

Jeff came to us from Phoenix in 2020, and he has a BS in Journalism from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. As the Assistant Director, he takes care of the behind-the-scenes details, helping us cross t's and dot i's. Away from the office, Jeff is a runner on both trails and the road, and has run several marathons (and even a few ultra-marathons going up to 50 miles!) He has a varied assortment of professional experience, including golf professional, residential property manager, and even started a cold brew coffee company. He writes running shoe reviews in his spare time and has published two novels and a non-fiction book. He recently moved to Colorado with his wife, Stephanie, a Colorado native, and their daughter Emma.

Andrew Fishman


Andrew has been working with Edge since 2015. Previously Andrew has held construction engineer and management positions as a public works consultant in the state of California. He has a strong background in drafting and engineering thanks to his time at Stevens Institute of Technology. 


Casey Brennecke

Project Manager

Casey came to Edge in 2017 from a local cabinet company where he was a Project Manager. He has been living in Colorado off and on for the past 10 years, starting when he went to school at the University of Colorado. He spends most of his free time exploring the mountains whether it be on a snowboard, motorcycle, or on foot.

Donté Louie

Project Manager

Donté is a Denver Native and Veteran of the United States Navy where he specialized in Electrical Engineering and Damage Control. After his military service, he served in the financial planning/risk management world as an Agency Manager and completed degrees in Marketing and Spanish from Metropolitan State University. When not at work, Donté enjoys keeping his competitive spirit alive on the football field, remodeling his home and expressing himself through multiple artistic outlets. This harmonious coalescence of knowledge and experience, and love of woodwork, led him into the Millwork industry and joining Edge in 2019 as a Project Manager. 


Andrew Barenz

Project Manager

Andrew joined the Edge team in 2021, having already spent ten years in the construction industry - nine of them in project management. The Colorado native calls Castle Rock home, and has a passion for woodworking even when at home! He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time up in the mountains, but his number one priority is always his family.

Josh Baker

Project Manager

Josh joined the Edge team in 2021 with literal decades of experience in the industry. The Sedalia, CO native started working in his grandfather's cabinet company in Lakewood back in 2001 and he hasn't stopped since - he even makes his own furniture in his home wood shop! When he isn't working or building, Josh likes to spend time with his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Thor or backpacking in the backcountry wilderness, and he's spent time in Glacier and Yellowstone, with an eye toward Banff in the near future. He also enjoys archery elk hunting and is a beer enthusiast, having been a volunteer captain at the Great American Beer Festival for more than a decade and even brewed his own beers in the past.


Sabrina Florence

Assistant Project Manager

Sabrina started with Edge in 2021, an Arizona native who came to us by way of San Francisco. She studied Interior Architecture at California College of the Arts, and is using that knowledge every day at Edge as well as at home where she and her fiancé Evan are completely remodeling their Westminster home. Sabrina studied ballet for 18 years, but now likes to focus on climbing, road cycling, and trail running, where her shepherd-pitbull mix Mozzy will begrudgingly join her - he even completed a half marathon behind her!

Alex Beekman

Project Engineer

Alex grew up in Denver and has been working with Edge since April 2018. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management and Business, which he applies to his role as a Project Engineer. Alex enjoys the unique challenges of finish carpentry project management and is proud to contribute to projects in his home state. When not in the office or on the jobsite, you can find Alex enjoying the outdoors by snowboarding or mountain biking.

Eric Ruba

Project Engineer

Eric grew up in a small town in Northwest Iowa where he built and installed cabinets with his dad. In 2016, Eric moved to Arizona, where he was engineering cabinets at a large cabinet shop. After a couple of years, Eric moved to Colorado in search of better hiking and cooler weather, joining the Edge Team in 2018. Eric's favorite hobbies include hiking, building furniture, reading, and playing tennis. On a typical weekend, you can usually find Eric supporting local breweries and food trucks with friends. 

Dennis "Mick" McKee

Dennis "Mick" McKee

Purchasing Agent

Mick has been in Architectural Millwork since 1974. A Journeyman Millman by trade, he has spent his career working in multiple capacities ranging from bench assembly, installer, cutbilling manager, machinist, purchasing manager, engineering, CAD drafting, and various other duties that pertain to custom millwork. Mick joined Edge in 2018 and has extensive knowledge of hardware and materials as he has been involved with purchasing in the Architectural Construction Trades for 18 years.

Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson

Purchasing Agent

Chris moved to Colorado in 2013 from Reno, NV. Chris has a millwork background as a builder/machinist for 14 years, and after taking design classes in CAD and Revit, he then moved into drafting, then estimating, and production management before becoming a Purchasing Agent for Edge in 2020. Chris spends his free time with his daughter, who is his life. Chris also loves trail running, ultra-trail races and obstacle course racing. He has raced in various places throughout the country, with the World Championship Spartan Race at Lake Tahoe being the toughest race so far – especially considering the blizzard conditions. He lives by “the longer the distance, the more inclined he is to be doing it” rule.


Greg Cook

Director of Engineering & Manufacturing

Greg moved to Colorado shortly after obtaining his degree in 1995. Greg has an extensive background in Custom Architectural Millwork Drafting and Design from working at a few of the largest cabinet companies across Colorado. He has been with Edge since 2017, and he is excited to be able to pass along the engineering knowledge that he has picked up throughout his career. When Greg is not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Milo Ganze

Lead AutoCAD Millwork Engineer

Milo has been in the Millwork industry since 1990, starting out in a Mom & Pop shop in Northern California. He moved to Colorado in 1999, and before joining Edge in 2018 worked at three of the largest Millwork companies in the Denver area. In his free time he enjoys hunting, off-roading, and riding his Harley.

Jeff Carmichael

Delivery/Warehouse Manager

Jeff Carmichael has been Edge's Delivery & Warehouse Manager since mid-2018. Originally from Virginia, Jeff came to Colorado for his undergrad studies at CU Boulder, getting his bachelor's in Spanish language and Literature. He spent time surfing in California before obtaining his Master's degree from Denver University in Software Design. Fed up with spending his days in front of a computer, Jeff's transition to the warehouse and delivery was a departure, but we're very lucky he made the switch. When he isn't working Jeff enjoys relaxing at home and working through various home improvement projects.

Jeremiah Mitchell

Jeremiah Mitchell

Shop Manager

Jeremiah has been Edge’s shop manager since 2016, but he has been in the industry since 2002. He started working in a cabinet shop at the age of 17, right after graduation from Widefield High School. When he isn’t making incredible things, he enjoys playing pickup hockey, or spending time with his wife and four kids.

Louie Lozoya

Field Manager

Louie is a Texas native who grew up in Colorado. He spent years in the residential construction industry, overseeing hundreds of projects before joining Edge in 2017. Now he oversees high end millwork installs throughout the Denver metro area. He enjoys taking architectural drawings and transforming them in the field. When not in the field you can find Louie fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, or playing bass guitar at Church.


Denise Jones

Field Manager

As a Denver native, Denise joined Edge in 2018, tackling the high rise life of residential Construction. Her experience within the business goes back more than 20 years in Denver. After working in the field of New Home construction, she became a Realtor and general contractor, working with her clients to build their dream homes. When not working, Denise enjoys going on vacation with her two daughters, or at her second home, the gym, keeping her family healthy while having fun!

Guadalupe Barrera

Guadalupe Barrera

Field Manager

Guadalupe moved to Colorado as a teenager and started working as a carpenter with her father. The California native has been working in construction since she was 17, joining Edge in 2018. She loves spending time with family, as well as camping, hiking, and going on vacation.

Geoff Waltz

Field Manager

Geoff comes to Edge as a professionally trained woodworker, with industry experience as a fabricator, estimator, and project manager for over 40 years. While Geoff grew up in the deserts of Arizona and moved to Colorado 13 years ago, between that time he has also been lucky enough to work as a high-end millwork installer and custom woodworker throughout the world, joining Edge in 2020. He loves spending time with his children, and grandchildren, and tries to spend as much time with them as he can, bicycling, camping, fishing and/or hunting. Geoff also loves to make use of his culinary arts degree, from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, by cooking for his friends and family. In his free time, Geoff builds and shoots traditional longbows and recurves and is heavily involved with the promotion of traditional archery, where he holds the goal of getting as many kids introduced to it as possible.

Field Manager

Originally from Arizona, Lance has been in Colorado since 2012 working with some of the finest shops in Denver and the surrounding areas, joining Edge in 2020. With 35 years of experience, Lance has overseen thousands of customized projects of all sizes and complexities while working together with employees, contractors and owners alike. Lance was excited to when he had the opportunity to join Edge and share his extensive experience with the Team. His hobbies and interests include riding his motorcycle through the mountains with his wife Jill, welding, and working on classic cars and trucks.

Jeff Rice

Field Manager (Mountain)

Jeff was born and raised in San Diego, California and moved to Colorado in 2003.  He currently resides, with his family, in the town of No Name outside of Glenwood Springs, CO.  He joined the Edge team in 2020, and brings many years of construction experience. Jeff enjoys playing guitar, skiing, rafting, road tripping and adventuring with his family, including his two adorable grandchildren. 

Max Proietti

Max Proietti

Field Manager

Max joined Edge as an intern, and after graduating from the University of Denver in 2018, Max transitioned to a Field Manager. Max enjoys the challenges that are unique to each project and seeing the satisfaction and joy that each completed project brings to the owners and end users. As a Colorado native, Max enjoys spending his free time outdoors camping, hiking, skiing and woodworking.


Caleb Killingsworth

Field Manager (Northern Colorado)

Caleb moved to Northern Colorado in 2013 after spending a decade in Nashville, TN. He brings both residential and commercial experience to the table. Caleb's strengths in critical thinking/on-site problem-solving, meeting project deadlines and communication enable him to quickly build trust with our clients. When Caleb isn't on a job site, you can find him at the driving range, standing knee-deep in a river fishing, or spending time with his amazing wife and 11-year-old daughter.

Hi, I'm Jo. You can usually find me sleeping on the main floor where the polished concrete is nice and cool. I am convinced that everyone who comes to visit us is here to see me, and I love people, so that works out nicely.
