Meet The Team

Kevin graduated from the University of Denver in 1991 and and founded Edge Construction Specialties in 1996. Kevin is married with 3 sons. He is the founder and current CEO of the company, and oversees the Preconstruction and Estimating department. When Kevin isn't in the office working on a bid or on the phone, you can find him pursuing his passions for fly fishing in salt water, deep sea fishing, trout fishing, or chasing upland and waterfowl game with his 3 sons.

Stuart graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. He began working for Edge in 2006 and became President in 2021. He oversees all projects from buyout to completion. Stuart likes the varied challenges he is presented with at Edge and the can-do attitude of the team. When not on the job, Stuart trains for and races Ironman triathlons with his lovely wife and spends time with his incredible family. 

Brent moved to Colorado in 2012 from his native Michigan to come work for Edge. He brings extensive field experience (25+ years) and a degree in Interior Design to the team. He enjoys working with designers and architects to transform design ideas into what owners actually want. Brent’s field experience makes him an incredible superintendent, especially when complicated details are present. In his free time, Brent enjoys biking, hiking and bird hunting.

Jeff came to us from Phoenix in 2020, and he has a BS in Journalism from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. As the Assistant Director, he takes care of the behind-the-scenes details, helping us cross t's and dot i's. Away from the office, Jeff is a runner on both trails and the road, and has run several marathons (and even a few ultra-marathons going up to 50 miles!) He has a varied assortment of professional experience, including golf professional, residential property manager, and even started a cold brew coffee company. He writes running shoe reviews in his spare time and has published two novels and a non-fiction book. He recently moved to Colorado with his wife, Stephanie, a Colorado native, and their daughter Emma.

Andrew has been working with Edge since 2015. Previously Andrew has held construction engineer and management positions as a public works consultant in the state of California. He has a strong background in drafting and engineering thanks to his time at Stevens Institute of Technology. 

Casey came to Edge in 2017 from a local cabinet company where he was a Project Manager. He has been living in Colorado off and on for the past 10 years, starting when he went to school at the University of Colorado. He spends most of his free time exploring the mountains whether it be on a snowboard, motorcycle, or on foot. 

Andrew joined the Edge team in 2021, having already spent ten years in the construction industry - nine of them in project management. The Colorado native calls Castle Rock home, and has a passion for woodworking even when at home! He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time up in the mountains, but his number one priority is always his family.

Josh joined the Edge team in 2021 with literal decades of experience in the industry. The Sedalia, CO native started working in his grandfather's cabinet company in Lakewood back in 2001 and he hasn't stopped since - he even makes his own furniture in his home wood shop! When he isn't working or building, Josh likes to spend time with his Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Thor or backpacking in the backcountry wilderness, and he's spent time in Glacier and Yellowstone, with an eye toward Banff in the near future. He also enjoys archery elk hunting and is a beer enthusiast, having been a volunteer captain at the Great American Beer Festival for more than a decade and even brewed his own beers in the past.

Marty moved to the US from Poland in the 80s and has been in Colorado ever since. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry, and has even owned and operated his own construction and design business. He joined Edge in 2022, with an enthusiasm to bring custom designs to life. While he isn't at the office, Marty enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and son and two wonderful dogs. When his wife allows he enjoys spending time in the outdoors; hunting or deliberately losing his boots so he doesn’t have to snowshoe with his wife.

Richard joined the Edge team in 2022 with a lifetime of construction experience. With the exception of three years in the Army, he's been in construction his entire adult life. Starting out as a carpenter, Rich earned his BS in Business Management and has now been a project manager for 21 years. He's been married for 25 years and has two daughters, and when he isn't overseeing projects he loves to spend time outside hunting, fishing, camping, or four-wheeling.

Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Chris moved to Colorado in 2012 and has been a project manager in the millwork industry since 2015, joining Edge in 2023. He's been in construction for more than 25 years in total! When he isn't running a project, he loves spending time with his wife and two little geirls, Ellie and Teagan, as the Quades enjoy travel, watching movies, camping, skiing, and just enjoying life together.

Travis joined Edge in 2023 with more than 20 years in construction. The Colorado native came up through the trades, and is passionate about custom millwork, but has also managed the production of framing walls and floor systems for multi-family units, high-end residential architectural millwork, and historical residential design builds. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and dog ZaZ or enjoying the outdoors.

Alex grew up in Denver and has been working with Edge since April 2018. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management and Business, which he applies to his role as a Project Engineer. Alex enjoys the unique challenges of finish carpentry project management and is proud to contribute to projects in his home state. When not in the office or on the jobsite, you can find Alex enjoying the outdoors by snowboarding or mountain biking.

Eric grew up in a small town in Northwest Iowa where he built and installed cabinets with his dad. In 2016, Eric moved to Arizona, where he was engineering cabinets at a large cabinet shop. After a couple of years, Eric moved to Colorado in search of better hiking and cooler weather, joining the Edge Team in 2018. Eric's favorite hobbies include hiking, building furniture, reading, and playing tennis. On a typical weekend, you can usually find Eric supporting local breweries and food trucks with friends. 

Lauren, a native of New York moved to Colorado in 2016 looking for a change in scenery. She graduated with a degree in Psychology, and was open to all opportunities when moving here and has been in the construction industry ever since. Lauren joined Edge in 2022. She enjoys collaborating within the team on all stages of a project, from preconstruction to the final punch. A competitive soccer player for 15 years, she thrives working in a team environment and values the relationships built amongst her peers - she even keeps in touch with former coaches! When not at work, you can find her staying active in nature, at the local farmers markets, hanging out at the dog park, or going to see her NY teams play when they come into town.

Andrew joined Edge in 2022 after moving across the country from New York to Colorado. His past five years was spent at Rochester Institute of Technology where he graduated with a mechanical engineering degree and competed on the varsity lacrosse team there, winning two NCAA National Championships. He brings a wide variety of experience to Edge and enjoys the challenge of starting a career in a new and dynamic industry. Outside of work Andrew likes to spend time in the mountains with family and friends. 

Wesley started his career in electrical construction. After completing his journeyman apprenticeship, he moved his focus to the energy solutions world. For the next 15 years he dedicated his efforts, mainly in engineering and business development,  to renewable energy (solar PV) and other energy efficiency products and services before transitioning to the world of finish carpentry, joining Edge in 2022. He moved to Colorado in 2012 from the Midwest and started competing in Ironman triathlons. He mountain bikes as much as possible and is constantly making improvements to his Mid-Century home in Northglenn. Nothing brings him more joy than spending time with his wife Lauren and son Felix.

Chris moved to Colorado in 2013 from Reno, NV. Chris has a millwork background as a builder/machinist for 14 years, and after taking design classes in CAD and Revit, he then moved into drafting, then estimating, and production management before becoming a Purchasing Agent for Edge in 2020. Chris spends his free time with his daughter, who is his life. Chris also loves trail running, ultra-trail races and obstacle course racing. He has raced in various places throughout the country, with the World Championship Spartan Race at Lake Tahoe being the toughest race so far – especially considering the blizzard conditions. He lives by “the longer the distance, the more inclined he is to be doing it” rule.

​Chris is a Colorado native and has been working with Edge since May 2022. He grew up only 10 miles from the Edge Construction Specialties office. Chris graduated from the University of Denver in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration. While new to millwork and construction, Chris is excited to learn and develop skills related to the industry. He also looks forward to building on his background in purchasing and logistics. When not working he can be found skiing and generally enjoying the outdoors to their fullest. 

Greg moved to Colorado shortly after obtaining his degree in 1995. He has an extensive
background in high end custom architectural millwork and design with 25 years in the
business. Greg has been with Edge since 2017 where he enjoys applying his industry
knowledge, managing teams and creating exceptional products. When Greg is not at work,
you can find him spending time with his family and shooting billiards at his favorite pool
hall.

Joe moved to Colorado with his wife and two children in 2012 after 14 years in the Las Vegas desert. He joined the Edge team in 2022, bringing with him 25+ years of experience in custom woodworking, high end architectural millwork, and plant management. He carries a deep respect for the fine art of wood crafting and enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping others learn the trade. Outside of work that passion spills over and you can often find him in his shop creating unique, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces and custom staircases. In his free time he also enjoys hiking the Colorado mountains, off-roading, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and smoking food for his friends and family.  

Milo has been in the Millwork industry since 1990, starting out in a Mom & Pop shop in Northern California. He moved to Colorado in 1999, and before joining Edge in 2018 worked at three of the largest Millwork companies in the Denver area. In his free time he enjoys hunting, off-roading, and riding his Harley.

Christina was born and raised in Alabama, joining Edge remotely as a millwork engineer in November 2022. She has a degree in Engineering Graphics and Design Technology, and has a love and passion for architectural millwork. She really enjoys seeing projects she drafted come to life after installation - even from across the country! Christina is a very extroverted person with a bubbly personality and loves to communicate with others. In her free time, she adores playing with her twin babies and watching movies with her husband. She enjoys learning new skills, like crocheting and baking, and is currently trying to teach herself piano and ukulele. She claims to have little rhythm but remains highly optimistic.

Chelsye was born and raised in Alaska and first moved to Colorado in 2019. She joined the Edge team remotely as a millwork engineer in January 2023. She received her bachelor’s in Interior Design from the Art Institute Minneapolis in 2015, and she couldn’t wait to jump into working in the industry. After working in different aspects of her field between Minnesota and Colorado, she found her love for architectural construction and millwork design. In her free time, you can find her gaming, camping, exploring the outdoors, or preparing for her first-born baby girl as well as moving back to Alaska!

Jeff Carmichael has been Edge's Delivery & Warehouse Manager since mid-2018. Originally from Virginia, Jeff came to Colorado for his undergrad studies at CU Boulder, getting his bachelor's in Spanish language and Literature. He spent time surfing in California before obtaining his Master's degree from Denver University in Software Design. Fed up with spending his days in front of a computer, Jeff's transition to the warehouse and delivery was a departure, but we're very lucky he made the switch. When he isn't working Jeff enjoys relaxing at home and working through various home improvement projects.

Jeremiah has been in the industry since 2002. He started working in a cabinet shop at the age of 17, right after graduation from Widefield High School. When he isn’t making incredible things, he enjoys playing pickup hockey, or spending time with his wife and four kids.

Louie is a Texas native who grew up in Colorado. He spent years in the residential construction industry, overseeing hundreds of projects before joining Edge in 2017. Now he oversees high end millwork installs throughout the Denver metro area. He enjoys taking architectural drawings and transforming them in the field. When not in the field you can find Louie fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, or playing bass guitar at Church.

As a Denver native, Denise joined Edge in 2018, tackling the high rise life of residential Construction. Her experience within the business goes back more than 20 years in Denver. After working in the field of New Home construction, she became a Realtor and general contractor, working with her clients to build their dream homes. When not working, Denise enjoys going on vacation with her two daughters, or at her second home, the gym, keeping her family healthy while having fun!

Guadalupe moved to Colorado as a teenager and started working as a carpenter with her father. The California native has been working in construction since she was 17, joining Edge in 2018. She loves spending time with family, as well as camping, hiking, and going on vacation.

Geoff comes to Edge as a professionally trained woodworker, with industry experience as a fabricator, estimator, and project manager for over 40 years. While Geoff grew up in the deserts of Arizona and moved to Colorado 13 years ago, between that time he has also been lucky enough to work as a high-end millwork installer and custom woodworker throughout the world, joining Edge in 2020. He loves spending time with his children, and grandchildren, and tries to spend as much time with them as he can, bicycling, camping, fishing and/or hunting. Geoff also loves to make use of his culinary arts degree, from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, by cooking for his friends and family. In his free time, Geoff builds and shoots traditional longbows and recurves and is heavily involved with the promotion of traditional archery, where he holds the goal of getting as many kids introduced to it as possible.

Jeff was born and raised in San Diego, California and moved to Colorado in 2003.  He currently resides, with his family, in the town of No Name outside of Glenwood Springs, CO.  He joined the Edge team in 2020, and brings many years of construction experience. Jeff enjoys playing guitar, skiing, rafting, road tripping and adventuring with his family, including his two adorable grandchildren. 

Max joined Edge as an intern, and after graduating from the University of Denver in 2018, Max transitioned to a Field Manager. Max enjoys the challenges that are unique to each project and seeing the satisfaction and joy that each completed project brings to the owners and end users. As a Colorado native, Max enjoys spending his free time outdoors camping, hiking, skiing and woodworking.

Jacob was born in California and raised in Colorado. He has been working in Commercial Construction since the age of 17, having worked on multiple multi-million dollar projects. He enjoys the detail work of carpentry and is a career focused individual. Detail in finish work has always drawn him to high-end carpentry and mill work. On his days off, you can find him exploring Colorado's lakes and trails, whether that be by white water rafting, dirt biking, or camping.

Nick joined the team full time after interning with Edge in 2018 & 2019. He graduated from CSU in 2020, majoring in Construction Management and minoring in business and real estate. He enjoys the planning and problem solving that comes along with each and every job. When he’s not working, Nick enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time at home with his beautiful girlfriend and their cat. 

Chad joined the Edge team in 2023. The California native was raised in Arvada, CO and he's spent his entire adult life working in construction - started out carrying doors for his dad's install company to eventually running his own install crews. On the weekends you can find him on the golf course or gone fishing.

Hi, I'm Jo. You can usually find me sleeping on the main floor where the polished concrete is nice and cool. I am convinced that everyone who comes to visit us is here to see me, and I love people, so that works out nicely.
