Job Summary

Job Title: Commercial Door/Hardware Installer

Job Brief: The Commercial Door/Hardware Installer will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another.

Job Starting Location: various jobsites in and around the Denver/Metro area
Position Type: Full Time. Must be flexible to work over 40 hours when needed.
Job Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Compensation: $20-30 per hour based upon experience
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Edge Construction Specialties is seeking dependable, reliable, safety focused individuals for commercial door and hardware installations on our commercial construction projects.

Essential Job Duties

Duties/Responsibilities

Understanding plans, diagrams
Work orders and written instructions
Installing frames, doors (hollow metal, wood, and aluminum), glass and hardware; and the ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
Performs other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)

Knowledge of construction practices/safety procedures
Experience with power and hand tools
Medium to heavy lifting (75-125 pounds) will be required

Attitude

Taking initiative to minimize wait times by proactively loading, securing, and unloading your vehicle at each location
Willingness to work overtime to ensure we meet our commitments to our customers and our team members
Willingness to work in the shop and do other tasks as they arise

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
18 years of age or older
Must be absolutely dependable, punctual, and safe
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation

• Satisfactory reference checks.

• Completion of a satisfactory background check.

• Completion of a satisfactory MVR driving record check.

• Passing a pre-employment Drug Screen

• Passing a DOT Medical Examination
